This highly talented group of professional singers performed for us at our Golden Wedding reception on a grey November Saturday. We had had a most enjoyable time discussing and agreeing a suitable programme for our special day. They are an incredibly versatile and talented group performing Bizet and Bernstein, Queen of the Night and Queen , Puccini and Porgy with equal brilliance, soaring originality and above all super charged emotion. Every single one of our 100 family and friends (of all ages) stood cheering at the end of the show and went home singing. We cannot recommend them too highly!

We have had the pleasure of performances from ‘Opera That’s Nice’ twice in our garden over the last year. On the first occasion Eleanor gave a masterful solo performance in freezing conditions as a special lockdown treat for my husband who was celebrating an important birthday. Joined by Lawrence for an extra treat in the form of the ‘La ci darem la mano ‘ duet from Don Giovanni. We were enchanted by their beautiful voices and charming stage presence. So much so that we felt impelled to invite Eleanor and Lawrence, together with their fabulous co-stars, to perform at a post-lockdown garden party last summer. They helped us recreate an outdoor mini-Glyndebourne here on Sydenham Hill! So impressed, so grateful, so appreciative!!!
